We are pleased to announce the opening of Baycroft Flitwick the latest addition to the Baycroft group of luxury care homes and senior villages. The care home comprises three floors with 75 luxurious bedrooms made up of nine suites, 30 classic rooms and 28 premier rooms. Baycroft was pleased to welcome its first resident which took up residency on the 27th August.

Established in 2016, the Baycroft brand aims to create a feeling of luxurious living whilst providing the highest level of care, service and flexibility in a place residents are proud to call home.

The Renovo staff assist in reinforcing this luxury brand by ensuring we implement a service of outstanding quality. Renovo have already received positive feedback from Baycroft Flitwick. Baycroft Flitwick staff said that all of the team have now all completed their mandatory training with them and are a pleasure to have working within the cleaning/gardening team.

The One Housing Care and Support team at Arlington were honoured to receive ‘Highly Commended’ for the Support and Care Team of the Year Award at this year’s Housing Heroes. The award celebrates teams that excel at ‘helping people who need care and support to be able to lead independent lives’.

Arlington is the largest mixed-use hostel in the UK and works to support residents with varying needs due to their history of being homeless; these include mental health, substance dependency, and physical health needs.

At Renovo, we provide a liveried crew of operatives delivering a range of boutique cleaning and caretaking services working closely with the Care and Support Team to bespoke services to these vulnerable needs. Through our Training Academy we have also been able to contribute to the team’s mission to build resident confidence, resilience and help them to move on to stable futures. Over the last twelve months alone the Care and Support Team have supported 18 residents into independent living.

We were honoured to win an Award at the CSSA Awards for our commitment to training this month.  The awards lunch took place on 20th March at London’s ExCel centre and was well attended by industry leaders.

The CSSA Awards in association with the Cleaning Show is a joint initiative to acknowledge and reward excellent and effectiveness across the UK Contract Cleaning Industry.  The awards are run for the industry, by the industry and voted for by industry experts.

The Commitment to Training award was championed and judged by The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and recognised the steps Renovo have taken to further training within the UK cleaning sector during the past 12 months.

We would like to thank all our staff involved for their hard work and dedication and everyone at the CSSA Awards and BICSc for their support.

A special honour was given to our staff at the SoHostel site in London this month. The Renovo cleaning operatives were jointly awarded as Employee Team of the Month receiving certificates, gift vouchers and a limited-edition Chequers ‘outstanding employee commitment’ pin.

The team has been continually praised by SoHostel staff as “amazing” and a real credit to the site, managing to keep it spotless all year round. The team were recognised as one of the key contributors for SoHostel’s recent 8.2 rating on Booking.com.

Renovo are thrilled to be recognised as finalists for the Commitment to and Investment in Training award at the European Cleaning Awards 2018.

The awards, run by European Cleaning Journal (ECJ) recognise standards of excellence in the professional cleaning sector Europe-wide. Renovo were one of 36 leading service providers, manufacturers and distributors who made the finalist shortlist across 10 categories and over 100 entries. 

The key vision for Renovo’s training scheme was to embrace innovative ideas and new ways of working.  Through the pooling of both Chequers and One Housing’s sector knowledge, best practice advice, skills and creativity we hoped to achieve an entirely unique, bespoke and professional cleaning service to effectively support the diverse needs of One Housing communities.

Baycroft’s flagship 75 bed luxury home strives to offer the highest level of care and support to its residents through personalised residential, nursing and dementia care.  The home, one of many to come, has been launched with the aim of developing a service attuned to the individual needs of each resident, and a place where they are proud to call home.

Having opened their doors just over a year ago, Baycroft Grays Farm Road, Orpington, has been rated 9.8 on Carehomes.co.uk.

Carehome.co.uk allows residents/service users or their family/friends to post comments and ratings of care provider experiences (“Reviews”).   The primary purpose of these Reviews is to help potential residents/service users to find the right care home/service. The Reviews also provide residents/service users with an opportunity to provide feedback to care providers and for care providers to use this feedback to make improvements.

Baycroft Oprington are also excited to be growing their team.  Baycroft are hosting an open day on Wednesday 21st November between 10am and 6pm at their Orpington site in Grays Farm Road. They have opportunities available within care, nursing, laundry and hospitality and with a recently increased salary and improved benefits package.
